The Flower Studio helps BDO celebrate their Centennial

BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional service organizations, celebrated the firm’s 100^th anniversary with a Centennial party on October 7th in their Century City Offices. The office was transformed into a beauty and elegant party venue featuring floral arrangements, seen here, from The Flower Studio. The focal point for the enormous buffet was a spectacular three tower arrangement featuring submerged orchids, purple and royal blue imported hydrangea, and Cherry Brandy Roses. Flowers were in abundance throughout the venue at each of the numerous serving stations, bars and cocktail tables. Many, many thanks to the staff of the Los Angeles offices of BDO for selecting The Flower Studio.

The Flower Studio Shows Green at VIP Reception

The Flower Studio was honored to have been chosen to provide floral arrangements and other decorations as at a VIP reception held in conjunction with the Governors’ Conference on Climate Change. Governors’ from across the nation and regional leaders from around the world Joined California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger at the reception hosted by Westfield Century City Mall.

The Flower Studio provided arrangements in keeping with the “green” theme of the conference and décor for the evening.

PEONIES

The peony has been a treasued flower in Asia for centuries. And it is no wonder when you look at a peony's delicate tissue paper petals that form the nodding head blossom.

Peony blossoms come in four different shapes. A single shaped blossom has only a single layer of petals around the center. A semi-double has two, maybe three layers of petals around the center. A double has a crowed of petals so that the center is not visible.
